It is more apparent now than ever before that coal mining, especially mountain top removal, is unethical and inhumane. It displays stark irresponsibility in land stewardship as well as depraved practices within a diverse region. Its time to shake off the flawed belief that we are reliant upon coal and other fossil fuels.
